Martin Gero is my Hero /

If you haven't seen this movie, SEE IT. I loved it loved it loved it. Great writing, great performances (from hot people -- a rare combination), lots of heart, lots of sexy (I know that doesn't make grammatical sense, but still), lots of laughs, beautifully shot. I was so impressed.

So see it!

Isn't this the film that raised a few eyebrows and isn't there some talk about "censoring Canadian Films" or something.

Looks like an interesting film.

Even Roger Ebert liked it! I really, really hope it gets all the way down to the indie theaters here in Austin - I'd love to see it.

Hi Kate?
What's up with your blog? Hard to believe, only a view comments!

I've heard you will come to Germany? :o) Such great news, but I'm afraid I cannot come. No money... (pigs might fly) :o(
Maybe it is possible for me to send you a little message to "Bad Salzdetfurth"("Trinity in Space").

Greetings from Germany
Yours
Stefan

Can't wait to see it when it comes across the water.

Don't know how long you are staying in the UK for, but might I suggest celebrating Canada Day in London?

We were going to go to Hoser Palooza on the Sunday too but, alas, we won't be getting back to good ole' London town until Tuesday.

I remember hearing about this movie a while ago, but didn't know where to see it or how to get a hold of it. Although, I must admit I have not been able to watch much of anything for the last 6 months. I'll have to check around to see if I can find it.

I'm still not at all fond of the title of the flick, but should it ever cross the border down to the States, I'll give it a gander ;)

Meanwhile, saw your brother's wedding pictures. Aw, what a beautiful couple!

Kate, please tell us about Meet the Hewletts! Does it feel weird to have people pay for tickets to talk to you? I know that sounds like a strange question, but it seems like the whole thing must feel a little surreal to you. The people I've heard from all say they had a wonderful time. I'd love to have been there, but it's a little far from Kansas. Hey, if you're ever stranded at the airport in Kansas City, we have a spare room you can stay in!

Well, I have a total auditory crush on Gero thanks to the SGA commentaries (he's so street!), and I love what he does on the tv, so if this ever makes it to the States, I will check it out! (see you at Shore Leave!)
