For any of you who live in or near the Los Angeles area, here is the info on a reading of my play, Humans Anonymous, that is happening tomorrow night:

"Hey Friends and Theatre Folks! I am directing an awesome play reading of a piece I saw in NYC - I am hoping to produce this amazing, funny and heartfelt piece in 2009. If you can come, that would ROCK MY SOUL - Tomorrow night, see:

That would be the other side of the continent for me, but I'm glad to see that it's getting more exposure! Hope all goes well!

Hi Kate, it's great to hear about the Playreading (too bad I'm in Australia!) If I may get all fannish for a moment, hearing about your writing inspires me to work on mine! And I'd like to ask - is no publisher yet convinced enough of your genius? ... (That's my way of asking, "When will I be able to buy the awesome plays by Kate Hewlett to read them for myself?")

Point of Interest, a young man performed a one-man show called "Humans Anonymous" at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival this year. Imagine how disappointed I was when I realised that it wasn't *your* show. :(

Aw, darn, I missed it. I suppose I can be consoled by the fact that I couldn't have gone anyway, as I was working then. Hope it went well, anyway.
