Day 2 /

Wowsers. There wasn't even time to BREATHE today, let alone blog. (And I'm already having difficulty breathing, since I'm wearing a corset for half of the film!)

To summarize: lots of laughter, too many gummie bears, not enough water, a little bit of partial nudity (ohhh dear), some crazy costumes, a tickle trunk, characters masks, fake beer and a whole lot of whispering.

Curious yet??

I promise a more detailed update tomorrow!

For those of you who were at Pegasus 3 this weekend -- how did it go?? Hope it was a blast...

K.

You truely love to tease. :) Corsets are terrible tings, evil torture devices. Have fun tomorrow!

Oh, this sounds like fun! Well, maybe not the corset wearing, although I am sure you looked very fetching in it. Um - what is a tickle trunk?

Three updates in a row! We're getting spoiled.

Aw, now alluding to things like partial nudity and then not elaborating is just cruel ;D

But it certainly sounds like everyone is having fun! And I am definitely enjoying the deluge of blog updates lately, so feel free to keep them coming.

A corset? Wow... Jery Ryan looked pretty in it on Voyager. :) Partial nudity? Hm... I rather not comment this one. :)

Btw, what do you use for fake beer? I know whiskey is made from tea, but what about the beer? Can you give us a few tricks about props? I mean I know rocks are made from paper or polystyrene, but there are lots of things remained secret. :)

Rehearsals are fun. When I worked in a theater, the rehearsals were the best part. :)

Have fun! :)

In the spirit of realist film-making, I say ditch the fake beer and get in the real stuff... ;)

I'm glad to hear that the shooting is so much fun and going so well - I hope we'll all get a chance to see the final product.

Now I'm definitely curious :D I really hope I'll somehow get the chance to watch the film, when it's finished - even though I live in Germany.

Have fun filming! :D

p3 was great fun..but you were still sorely missed!!
it was my first con and it was amazing!!!!! my sides still hurt from well everything from Paul Mcgillion in his kilt lying on a table then forgetting he is wearing a kilt while crossing his legs..to kavan trying to OUT paul!!!!

OH OH... We held an impromptu adb screening at 3.30 am this morning..like 10 of us..we videoed it and will be editing it together..we had a great time doing it!!!

Wow...I go to P3 for the weekend and all of a sudden you go post crazy on your blog...sounds like all is going well...want all the behind the scenes gossip please.

There was a Kate Hewlett type hole at P3, but it was deliciously fun anyway.

Paul has the best stories and gives the best hugs....and like teknikal said...lying on a doctors table whilst wearing a kilt made the day of about 500 women present at the time.

And you might want to ask him just what Kavan Smith was up to in this picture:

Keep happy and well

We missed you at P3! It was a great weekend (though I'm sure you could have taught them a thing or two about partying!)

Kavan Smith spent the weekend out-ing Paul, so no worries on the teasing front :P

Glad filming is such a blast, look forward to more updates!

ames: a tickle trunk is a large trunk full of costumes and masks that you can dip into and cobble together various get-ups to play with. Not always literal, but that's the idea. If you're not from Canada, you may not get the reference; it refers to such an object featured regularly on the Canadian kids' TV Show Mr. Dressup. It's a pretty exclusively Canadian reference, I don't think Mr. Dressup is well known outside of Canada, but he's an institution here.

Sounds like you're having a blast!

Are you eating the gummy bears, half meted and then dipped in tomato sauce? That's the best.

Can't wait to hear more!

Peg 3 was a blast - lost voice and cold not withstanding (could have done without the cold and I want my voice back!) but you were definitely missed. I didn't get to go to the ADB showing that teknikal arranged - wanted to be there but I would have ruined it for everyone by coughing and wouldn't have been able to say much. According to Kavan Smith I sounded like Jerry Lewis when I laugh at the moment!

Fingers crossed for Peg 4 next year? January 23-25 2008, just in case you're wanting to add the dates to your diary. :D

Glad the film is going well, can't wait to hear more about it.

Yay! to see you blogging again. Pegasus 3 was a *blast* oh the fun you missed, you *must* come next year to Pegasus 4 (I already have tickets - along with oh... everyone else who decided they didn't need to eat as long as they had tickets for P4! lol) - All the other guests were wonderful, but it's such a pity you couldn't be there, still it's great that your filming... can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Hey Kate,
Still sad you missed peg 3, was a lot of fun! I'm still exceedingly knackered!

Though I think most of the guys were wishing they'd avoided the chicken!

Me I'm so glad I won't see another mcdonalds if I can help it for 10 months!

But hopefully we'll see you in 12!

Jane

Ps I think Annie (above) means 2009 for peg 4

Just popped in to see the linked photo (a friend pointed it out) but i thought I'd mention - your wishes were carried out.

As others have said, Kavan kept on trying to out Paul through the entire convention, and a lot of the questions put to Paul were about ADB. His dressing as a woman, the kissing was of course mentioned, how did he get legs that looked so good and honest he didn't look like the ugliest woman in the world....

Hope to see you at Peg4, loved you at Peg2 and missed you this year, but hope you're having a great time at your current project.

Yes, I did mean 23-25 January 2009 - good catch, Jane.

I blame my cold, it's totally not because I'm stoopid! :P

Corset? Is your dresser at least sympathetic and helping you cheat?

If it's boned, hopefully they've got some moleskin handy for when the bones start poking through the fabric between takes and they don't have time to get it off you and fix it.
