Oops /

I don't think there is actually a screening of A Dog's Breakfast this weekend (unless David told you there was). I think I may have made that up. Sometimes I get confused. I blame martinis.

Here is the loop:

Here is me:

(Notice that I'm outside of the loop.)

K!

*giggles* You arent COMPLETELY out of the loop - theres a special signing for A Dog's Breakfast in particular. Ok, not a screening, but still ADB specific. :) So its more like:
the loop "O" and you "K"
O.K

See... you're OK! (...that was horrible wasnt it)

Martinis are to blame for many of the world's ills. And many of the world's goodtimes. :D

Um, are you in the loop enough to know that your brother is trying to have you come down for the signing this weekend?

I hope that wasn't supposed to be a surprise or something, because then I blew it. Actually, David blew it because he mentioned it on his site!

Even if you don't go, have a great weekend in lovely Vancouver.

Well if your brother said that on his site is not presicely a "secret" (well maybe it is, if you think a couple of thousand of us is a small group) :P

David does have a special simulcast of ADB set for Aug 3rd for those who've downloaded the movie from Amazon or itunes. Will you be attending?

I hope the convention works out for you! And if it doesn't a good martini is always in order. Or perhaps a mojito. Mojitos are lovely drinks.

I'm going to hide my head under the bed for a while. Something possessed me to dress up like a wraith and pole dance and post it on youtube. I think I'll have a mojito or three while the horror fades.

YOU BETTER GO! I wanna see you there, young lady!

'Just saw on Twitter that you won't be at Comicon. I agree - BOOOOO! I hope you'll make it 'to' the ADB online screening. I think we'll be doing a simulcast... simul... we're all going to watch it together... apart. Those of us who have downloaded the movie, anyway.

Oh! It's probably been mentioned, but if you 'follow' us on Twitter, you can see our responses to your Twitters there. And, when you get reaaaalllly bored, you can watch us blither back and forth.

Cheers!

I, like darklock, just noticed you won't be going to comicon. Sorry to hear that it didn't work out. :(

You should do the simul-thingy she's talking about! It's supposed to be on August 3rd I believe. Not sure what time yet, but I think it'll be a lot of fun. :)

Darklock is very wise listen to her. :D

Aw, no Comic-Con! You'll have to see David's clothes (courtesy of Atlantis wardrobe) via photos.

Anyway, even if you can't make Comic-Con, you can see it - check out http://flickr.com/search/?q=comic+con+2007 - each years fans post hundreds of shots. Hey, might even seen David in one of those shots come Friday evening ;) I'm still trying to find a picture of the pink and green Darth Vader with the 'hello kitty' motif I tripped over on a news site...(but of course can't recall the URL).

re following on twitter: those are people that you want to read. Example, David. You are maybe interested in what he's twittering about (usually lunch), so you "follow" him. Then his twitter texts show up in your timeline on your homepage.

Also, re: twitter, people who are mutually following each other can reply to each others twitters by starting a message with "@username". (i.e., "@katehewlett Like suddenlyshy said, it's other folks' twitters that you want to read.") All messages directed @you will be listed together under your Replies tab, but you have to be following someone for their messages to show up in the first place.

Kate, saw your update on twitter and that you were wondering about that following thing. Don'worry, it also took me a while to figure that out when I joined twitter. It's a bit confusing.

People that follow your posts are called your followers. That means these people have you on their 'friend list' and get your twitter updates, either on the web or on their cell phones. You can see the (by now 155) people that are following you/your posts when you click on "followers" on your profile page.

If you decide to add some of these or other people on twitter (like your brother) to your 'friendlist', then you add them by clicking on "follow" in their profiles or on the followers list. When you added someone you are following him now, meaning that you will be able to see the twitter messages of said person. You can decide if you want to get their posts on your cell phone or if you just want to view them online. Once you have people on your friend list they can communicate with you via twitter, meaning that they can write you explanations like this one on twitter. :D

Apparently going back to a screenplay, or any written work for that matter, after a period of time is really good - you look at it from an outside perspective. It feels almost like a fresh read, as you currently aren't so involved in it. Helps to pick up errors.

I've been working on a novel for years. But I set it aside for quite some time. I'll get back to it eventually. Looking forward to doing so - I miss my characters, but definately needed some time apart. Haha.

My God, he looks like a chipmunk!!

I mean he's a little chubby, but that figure look absolutely nothing like him.

Is excellent teasing material :-)

Hi Kate. Loved you on Stargate Atlantis and A Dog's Breakfast. I think I just love the way you just seem so natural on screen, and I love the interplay between you and David. Must be so much fun to be able to work with your brother onscreen like that.

Just had a quick couple questions, if you have a couple minutes sometime to answer, that would be awesome. If not, no worries, I think I'll survive somehow...

#1 Is Paul McGillion single? It's no fun crushing on a taken man...;)

#2 I've just moved to Vancouver and so very unfamiliar with the entertainment scene. I love performing and I wanted to find a theatre group to be involved with here. Can you recommend any groups either from personal experience, or just word of mouth? Would love to get your opinion on them.

Thanks in advance. :)

Hey there! I'm not even sure how I ended up at your blog... but reading your previous post about how to get to conventions...

An aquaintence of mine is an agent/scheduler whatever you'd like to call her, and right now takes care of all the convention scheduling and appearances for about half of the Farscape cast. I'm not sure what her schedule is now but she might be able to squeeze you in if you're interested. Just leave a comment in my blog or post in your own blog about it and I'll have her contact you. Or whatever!

Then again you could always just show up and hang out. =P

Anyway I thought you guys were great at the SG con last year. Sibling abuse on stage. HILARIOUS!

And Comic Con was freaking amazing!

Hi. I just want you to know that I JUST got the out of the loop thing, and I've been at your page a couple times. I actually got it just now. You're out of the loop. HAH! Ok, now that I'm done being weird: I'm really excited to see A Dog's Breakfast! It looks TOO funny. I've never seen you in any other productions, but from the previews, I think you're going to be a scream. (Do people still say that?) I think you guys are going to be so awesome in the movie.

Mainly, the only reason why I wanted to see it was because Paul McGillion is in it, and I love him. And then I saw that David Hewlett was in the movie with his sister. Well, how could I miss out on a chance to see siblings play siblings? Never.

Don't blame Martinis. The Martinis cry when you blame them. You should apologize.

Sorry for the long comment! I just like to talk, even though I know no one ever responds! I'm sad and alone, but not a stalker. Stalkers don't have cats. That's my defense.

ANYWAYS! Good luck with the movie! I will most assuredly go see it! ♥ my apologies.
