P.S./

Oh, don't even get me STARTED on Coke Zero. It's from the gods. My teeth are disintegrating because I'm a grinder -- (think sleeping, not dancing) -- and a dentist told me NEVER to drink Coke products because it would only speed up the process. I can't help it, though. Coke Zero is like actual Coke without the actual Coke sugar. It doesn't taste like Diet Coke Chemical Waste -- it tastes like proper Coke. That, my friends...is a scientific miracle.

Goodnight. (It's 3:51 am. When am I going to turn into an adult and get home at a reasonable hour?)

Also...I'm currently beating Madonna in blogland, thanks to you(s). I'm going to have lovely dreams tonight, possibly involving pointy metallic bras.

K.

Have you tried Cherry Coke Zero? That will be the demise of me ever haboring a delusion of giving up caffeine.

Don't turn into an adult, it wouldn't be nearly as fun. Acting, as a profession is meant to help you stay young. I hope to still be playing dress up and pretend when I am sixty. ;)

I have a morbid fascination with Coke products. I'm fairly intolerant to caffeine and those crazy chemical sugars, so it sends me off the wall. I know it's terribly bad for me, but I continue to drink it every once in a while solely for that sensation of it striping everything useful from the inside of your mouth.

I leave now.

I love coke, but I hardly ever buy it now that I have to carry my groceries home.

Pepsi makes me want to cry.

You know what rocks? Caffeinated lip balm.

Oh. My. God. I have exactly the same opinion (it took me 5 times to spell that word right!!!) of Coke Zero. It is the best! I, like Neep, have to carry groceries home from the supermarket, after getting them on and off a bus (I'm a silly student without a car *or* a license) but I don't care if I get my fix of Coke Zero. I never feel guilty after drinking it, because it's just so damn good!

And, on your previous post, I understand about the gym. I just started going like 2 months ago. I got an exercise plan made up for me, and while it's hard work I absolutely love it! And even though I still eat the same crap (well, some of it is healthy but because there's no fish and chip shop in Kelburn my flatmate and I get Pizza one a fortnight) I've still dropped a pant size :D

So keep at it!

*hugs* Emma

Nope, I need regular Coke, or Cherry Coke, but Coke Zero and Diet Coke give me nightmares. Nice to see I wasn't the only person up at 3am this morning, of course, I had to help my cat through her first labor, so that was no fun, but they were showing Star Gate Atlantis on tv, so at least I was entertained.

i'm pretty sure that you can lessen the damage to your teeth a bit by drinking coke and such like through a straw.

hope that helps. :)

My father likes Diet Coke, but I've drifted away from sodas in the past few years in favour of La Croix and tea. *mmm* tea....-sigh- Now I want some and finding hot water at school will be a feat within itself. ^^;

Well, I wouldn't know about that. The only Coke I drink is Coke lol.

Anyway, about beating Madonna. You can do it! Why? Well:

She doesn't blog! (Even if she did I wouldn't know)

She never appeared in Stargate - Atlantis! (That matters a lot! At least to me.)

I don't like her! (What can I do?)

I like you better than her!

She's overrated!

You're underrated!

And more, but I don't remember.

Off to Coffee now.

Keep Up :)

Hi, I'm Cindee, I'm a coke-a-holic(diet and regular), or rather used to be. Now I am off the stuff in favor of Dasani flavored water or Fruit 2O(pronounced 2-oh). I lost weight after I quit and no carbs(I save that for alcohol).

Okay, Kate... Just read my comments and don't ignore it. Slowly but surely it degenerates into work. ;o)

Why do you think Coke Zero tastes like proper Coke?
It's everything, but in no way a scientific miracle:
Millions of small, sweet Coke-Animals have to die for such a taste!
Perhaps you think that’s not worth mentioning, but it's a double-edged sword...
In a few years your teeth will look not much better than Shrek's teeth!

Just kidding... ===> Good thirst!

Coke Zero is a food group as far as I am concerned. I'm eagerly awaiting Diet Coke Plus. Fortified with vitamins and minerals. That's got to be good right?

OMG - about 15 years ago my dentist told me the very same thing. And I did I was told - only twice have I drunk coke in that time (and once was because it was the only drink available and I really needed to drink something).

Head their advice and stop. Even cutting out the coke I now have 4 crowns - 6 more on the way and have to wear a protector at night to stop me grinding them away to nothing :(

On the other hand, you could just think "Meh", and enjoy Coke Zero in all it's non-sugary goodness. You have an NHS in Canada don't you?!

En México existe una campaña millonaria para promocionar la coca Zero, digo, por algo somos uno de los paises que mas consumen.

Ah, y lo que tiene es un monton de sodio... y todo se va a las caderas :P

Coke Zero is the awesome. Seriously. I say this an Atlantan native, but also someone that recently cut back on the soft drinks. It doesn't leave that godawful taste that Nutrasweet has.

Pfft to dentists, I say. I have to drink something besides sweet tea (as in southern sweet tea, except made with Splenda) and Crystal Light all the time, darn it. You gotta change up occasionally. Don't wanna get stuck in a rut.

They have it at Wendy's now and just today I had a vanilla frosty float thingy made with Coke Zero. So heavenly and so unhealthy.

I haven't tried Coke Zero yet. I like Coke (and I love Pepsi!) but just haven't tried it yet. I guess because most everything else I've tried that has been zero carbs has tasted like......hm, I better not say to keep this family friendly.

Congrats on beating Madonna!

My entire family recently discovered the miracle that is Coke Zero. Thanks be to the drink gods for making something that won't make me as guilty. I go absolutely nuts for the Cherry version. Have you heard of the new one, Coke Zero Plus? Apparently it has "nutrients" added like vitamins. That scared me in the grocery store, I think they're trying to be the caffeine version of Gatorade.
And oh my god, I just looked at the can ingredients. It's a conspiracy, I didn't know this had aspartame too. Weird.

At least the sugar won't be killing my teeth, muhahaa...

Hmm. A study on aspartame and people with mood disorders had to be stopped bcause of the severity of the symptoms with consuming aspartame.

Just kill me with high fructose corn syrup, thank you. Coke, not Pepsi, please.

I don't like the taste of Coke, I don't know why.

The most nightmarish moment that has ever occurred in my life was when the entirety of our household tried to give up caffeine - after one day it was Lord of the Flies... never do it, it isn't worth the pain.

Coke is so many shades of bad for you...if you leave it in a blocked drain overnight it'll be clear by the morning....so what does it do to your insides?

You'd think it'd put me off but no I still drink it by the pint glass....I have no will power!

Last week my husband called on his way home and asked if I wanted him to bring home burgers. Sure! He brought me a junior cheeseburger and a Coke Zero. Is he trying to tell me something? It was hardly worth the trouble! Give me all the cholesterol and all the sugar, please!

See, I'm a Diet Dr. Pepper girl (you can take the girl out of Texas, but eradicating all parts of Texas from the girl is far tougher) and while I know that repulses you, it's a long and beautiful relationship and so I do not tinker with it. But a friend of mine was a media buyer for Coke at the time and just before the launch she was like, "omg, this is going to be big" and they had that new version of the "like to buy the world a coke" ad and dude. When it hit the uni where I was teaching there was a mad rush (college students are kind of dumb) but in retrospect, it might even have been worth the hype.

Coke zero is love! Thank you for convincing me to finally try it!

Although... now I have the hiccups. They are so bad that they have given me a headache. Is this a normal side effect? Oh well, I need something to give me a headache when I don't have one from grinding my teeth (well, from the tension that makes me grind me teeth). Yep, another teeth grinder here.

I have to try this with rum, but I might wait until my flatmate gets home. Because people tell me that drinking alone is bad.

Ok FIRST of all...I am falling over dying in shock because you, yes YOU posted like 4 blogs since I was here last! WTF? Are you TRYING to kill me? And HOW THE HECK do I add you as a syndicated feed? How nice would it be NOT to have to go to three different bloggers in one day...and just read them all in one nifty little space. I know, I am a geek in training. Must contact your brother about that. Maybe I could get a job. But I digress...

Coke Zero...haven't tried it, but sounds intriguing.

My friend mentioned a truly strange recipe to me last weekend: COKE CHICKEN.

And I bet you can guess what the ingredients are. Yup, that's right. Chicken and Coke.

Apparently, you just put a few pieces of chicken (on the bone) into a large pot and pour in a 1.25 litre bottle of coke (or coke zero for you fans out there). Then just put on a medium heat and reduce.

I have to admit that I haven't tried it myself, but it sounds interesting. Kind of...

But, but I LOVE Diet Coke.
I'm even seriously addicted to the stuff. Or perhaps it's aspartam I'm addicted to. lol! Shoudn't be drinking it either but can't seem to be able to stop.

Have to admit I hate Coke Zero. It tastes weird I think. Although I have to say I also hate the taste of Regular Coke ;)

The weirdest thing I've tried yet is Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke. It's a scary memory.

drink(pepsiMax);
